Unique à Paris, l’American Center for the Arts est un lieu ouvert dédié au rapprochement entre les pays, entre 
la France et les Etats-Unis mais avec une ouverture sur le monde, à travers l’art sous toutes ses formes : arts
 plastiques, musicaux, performances etc…
 L’American Center for the Arts répond au besoin fondamental de l’artiste d’élargir son réseau et de traverser les frontières. Il est basé au sein de dorothy’s gallery, la plus américaine des galeries parisiennes.

 

• Nos missions

- L’échange d’artistes avec divers associations, centres culturels en France et à l’étranger, pour permettre 
aux artistes d’exporter leur travail et d’être révélés


- L’organisation d’expositions d’art contemporain au sein de dorothy’s gallery et hors les murs, présentant
 côte à côte de jeunes artistes talentueux et des artistes de renom, américains, français et internationaux.


- La programmation de soirées au programme culturel complet et varié (cycles de lectures, performances,
 concerts, pièces de théâtre, projections, soirées d’artistes, conférences…)


- La démocratisation de l’art grâce a l’organisation de visites commentées des expositions pour tous les
 publics : écoles, personnes handicapées, retraités, habitants de quartiers défavorisés….

 

A unique and open location

 

Unique in Paris, The American Center for the Arts is an open venue, dedicated to bringing countries closer, France and America evidently but also with an obvious opening on the world, through art in all its shapes and colours : visual arts, musical arts, performances etc… The American Center for the Arts fulfills the fundamental need of each and every artist to widen his network and cross boundaries and frontiers. The American Center for the Arts is located at dorothy’s gallery, the most american of all parisian galeries. 

 

Our Missions

- The exchange of artists with various associations, cultural centers in France and abroad, to allow artists to export their work and be seen.

- The organization of contemporary art exhibitions, at dorothy’s gallery and in other locations, presenting side by side young talented artist and renowned artists, american, french and international.

- The programmation of evenings with a varied and rich cultural program (readings, performances, concerts, theatre plays, films, artists evenings, letures…)

- The democratization of art through commented visits of the exhibition to all publics : schools, handicaped, retired etc..
